Liberation
I’m definitely not in Hawai’i anymore.
That was what I was thinking as we were driving to Big Bear Lake. Last week I headed up to California to complete the final part of my Breathwork training with the 33rd & Rising family.
You all brought me here.
Because of your generous donations, I was able to attend this training in-person. Throughout the whole trip I just felt so grateful for the opportunity so thank you again. Thank you to my mentor and Reiki Master Chanel for holding space and training us, thank you to Tammy, Soleil and Natasha for being such amazing support.
This trip was exactly what I needed. It was a training plus mini retreat packed into one weekend. We facilitated Breathwork with our fellow cohorts as well as going through Breathwork ourselves. We all went through release and transformation and I couldn’t ask for a better group to experience this transformation with.
Liberation —
this was was the journal prompt and theme. How can I experience liberation in my mind, body, soul and even in the collective? How would it feel if I was truly liberated? If the collective was liberated?
I would feel limitless. Unapologetically me. Full trust in myself and Divine.
On Saturday night we headed to Joshua Tree to visit the Integratron for an outdoor crystal sound bath. This place was so beautiful and it reminded me a lot of Sedona. They even had water that was charged by the vortex (also very delicious, I savored every drop). My best friend Diane-Nicole was able to drive down from Whittier to meet up with me. I haven’t seen her in over a year because of the pandemic and I was so happy to see her. Experiencing this with her and the group just made me so happy.
I highly recommend checking out this spot if you are in California. It’s such an experience.
Afterward we drove up the road and stargazed for awhile. Because we were out in the desert, we were able to sit in the back of the truck and just talk while looking at the beautiful sky. So many moments I will never forget.
When the training ended, we parted ways — heading to San Diego, Arizona and L.A. We ended up staying in L.A. for a night and had Roscoe’s for breakfast. Obligatory lol.
We drove back to Oakland and revisited Serial the podcast. Chanel and Tammy had never heard it before and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to listen to it since we had a long drive back. If you haven’t listened to it — download it now. If you’re into mystery / true crime / suspense like I am, you’d get into this.
Honestly the time went by so quickly for me because I kept staring out the window amazed by black and white cows and sheep (which is not something you see everyday in Honolulu) or passing out because I was seriously jet-lagged (daylight savings time is no joke).
When we finally got home, I showered and passed out to prepare for my next day — my Past Life Regression with my mentor Britt Yap.
This was my early birthday gift to myself and now more so than ever I felt I was ready to revisit those memories that were deep within me. Past Life Regression is a type of hypnosis that are memories of past lives or incarnations. It is used by practitioners to dig deep in the origins and understanding of our gifts, traumas and our life’s purpose.
In other words, I WAS OPEN AND READY 😂
I will be doing an interview with Britt about my PLR experience and who I was in my past life (or lives hehe) on IG — April 21 at 4pm HST / 7pm PST.
For my last night, Chanel and I went to visit our friend Mich. Let me just say that Chanel and I met faster because of this beautiful woman. She cooked an amazing Ilokano dinner for us. We laughed and shared — I left the mainland feeling very very nourished in my belly, my mind and my heart.
I forgot to mention before I left I made a Spring playlist for you all. These are tracks that I’ve been loving. I’ll be adding to it as the season transitions <3 thank you again for taking the time to read this post. I appreciate you all.
